  • Reaching for me

I can see the water dance across your eyes

I can see the lonliness in your smile

I hope to hold you and take it away

I see your terrified of this place

When you start to fall I am there

Dont ever think your all alone

I can help heal those places that hurt deep inside

All it takes is just one word

See me as the hand that heals

Know that life is not this way

One day we will break this chain,

    This cycle that never ended

One day it will be simpler days

We will prevail over the darkness that has covered us

Your hand wrapped around my heart

    My soul is yours tonight

  • yeah im neglecting

So i've neglected my blog and i'm sorry. i cant seem to choose wether to keep it here or move it and that has left me unmotivated. A lot of things have happened in the last few weeks, my youngest baby started school, and has had his first few games of football, my oldest son is now a 4th grader! wahoo. my kids are out of the house! It is sad in a way but strangely, i feel a tad free.. I love my kids don't get me wrong but its nice to have the down time. Anyway i'm alive after a long downtime, I cant seem to write when am frustrated, and that frustrates me even more. this is a busy time of year as well, its the time where my kids are in sports every day of the week, high school football on Fridays, (pics to come) cause yano, small town and all, as well as college football WAHOOO... i'm a nut I know, i love college football, i wont dare touch an NFL game, but give me some SEC games and i'm hooked! Although Tennessee lost this weekend, and i could have thrown something damaging at my TV, i still love them :)

Tonight i basically just wanted to touch base, ill add tons of pics this week when i have some time, and add a TON of useless information for all!

For all of those Confessions of a Pioneer Woman readers, go check out her blog, she has a face lift thats fabulous! I just love Ree and at least she gives her readers something to read everyday and its damn interesting too LOL, unlike me, the slacker. Anyway come back later this week, i promise i will be in the swing of things once again, no later than Wednesday I proooooomise!

Also at some point i'm going to post some pics on the town I live in, so all of you can see just how small it really is,!

  • im sick, and i cry like a baby

ok so um i'm slacking this week, but give me a darn break, i'm sick.. yes i have a cold.. in the middle of summer, in AUGUST.. the heat is terrible, 102 yesterday only making my running nose, pour even more, yeah i know, you wanted to know that.. now hush about it. my husband is threatening to go stay at a hotel, im a big baby when sick. i dont like people around me, or touching me, or the heat, or the cold, and i have weird cravings, and send my lovely adorable husband to the store at 9pm to get chocolate chip cookies and milk. i leave kleenex laying everywhere and carry lysol around, and brush my teeth constantly because i swear people can smell the sickness. ick. i also steal my sons blankies. yeah i know, im a nice mom. but i also dont stop for anything, i get up, i bathe, i walk my dogs ( all three of them) i take my kids to school and work all day and pick the brats up and ask lovingly how their day went, even if im not listening. not because im not interested, but when i have a cold, i feel a bit drunk and well, i lose all train of thought. i also stand in 99 degree weather with my nose dripping to watch my son play ball, and smile and look nice so people dont think im a total loser even though i feel like the walking dead. yep, thats me when sick, in a nutshell...a lose cannon. and in all reality you all know, your the exact same way. ok well tanya would throw her kleenex away but i wait until mine get to be a HUGE pile, then decide to throw them out.. yano without alot of energy i have to make that long trip to the trash can worth my while.

So anyway I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, no i'm not dead, though i do feel that way. and I will be back with more boring information and crap about my life as soon as i can actually breathe and see through both of my eyeballs. i will have tons of useless information, like my kids first day of kindergarten, and my oldest starting 4th grade. and my sons first football game and various other wonderfully boring stories that i know ya just adore.

so with that, i'm off, off to a lovely night of vicks vapor rub, kleenex and nyquil. wahoo... colds suck, id rather puke my guts out!

  • haircut saga

    100_3193 100_3267 100_3272 100_3271 100_3274 100_3276 100_3278 100_3284 100_3289

so some of you may have noticed, my kids finally got their haircut. After  a year of growing this mess they called cool.. its all gone. One thing i wont argue with them over is hair, to me, its just hair and as long as its clean and they can see, why worry about it? much more imprtant things in this world, so as a mom, i choose my battles. Ethan came to me after practice and said "I want all this dang hot hair gone" so we decided to go for a haircut Saturday. Only thing was finding a barber, so i decided to go to a lil old beauty shop (men dont kill me) that my mamaw goes to.. I figured, well they have long hair surely this woman can cut it..  I was terribly wrong. my poor child. I should have known when the lady didnt put out her cigerette long enough to cut his precious blonde locks.. the bangs were crooked, there were gashes in his poor hair and the back, well, ive got pictures to prove my lil story.

So when my oldest hopped into the chair.. I had to tell him to lie. yes its a bad thing to get your kids to lie but in this case, well, it saved him LOL. I told him, just tell the lady you changed your mind and your not getting it cut, then im taking you and your brother someplace else and pray they can fix lil e's head.. Dakota gladly jumped down out of the chair, because see, well, he loves his hair and he wasnt about to look like his brother, like someone had sat a bowl on his head and then couldnt even cut it straight.

so we walk out and luckily the barber down the road had re-opened and i walked in and asked " can you PLEEEASE fix his hair?" she gasped, yep it was bad. so he got up in the chair telling this nice barber what had gone horribly wrong only minutes before. Then my oldest son Dakota, had his chance, I figured all he would do was get a trim, since afterall, he refused to get a haircut in the last year, i never imagined he would change his mind.. picture evidence, my children look like boys again WAHOOO. they look older, cleaner and i might add, more handsome as well! enjoy my horrific sons first haircut, and then the way he looks after, and of course my lil girl, i mean boy.. shhhh u didnt hear that, my boys long treses are gone :::GASP:::
